Squirt Mild Shampoo

Augustine from Pet Stylist has informed me that Les Poochs Pooch d'été (aka Summer Edition) Shampoo & Creme Rinse is not suitable for strip coat. I have sold off my remaining bottles but still holding onto the last bottle of Pooch Bright® Shampoo for washing the furnishing once awhile.

Heard from some show schnauzer owners are using #1 All Systems Crisp Coat Shampoo for stripped coat. This USA concentrated shampoo (10:1) is created for the hard coated dogs like stripped coat of schnauzers and helps in texture enhancing. It is of all natural hair and skin purifying botanical ingredients such as Eucalyptus, Rosemary and Mint. However I find it is abit harsh to the skin after a few use. Not sure if is the PH of the shampoo or ingredient that affects it. One thing I noted was US dog owners do not really shower their dogs as often as we do in Singapore. This is due to Singapore climate is real terrible, hot and humid, and if we walk our dogs daily, the dog will stink if you do not shower him in 4-5 days time.

Was kind of busy and did not have a chance to read up more into shampoo, until a friend recommended me to get a tube of Squirt Mild Shampoo to try. This is Australia product and with PH balanced formula. Low irritant for sensitive or inflamed skin. (Ben will need something like this especially after stripping). It is created for sensitive skin dogs and has natural soothing extracts of tea tree oil and oatmeal. Cleanse, deodorise and moisturise the skin. I am using Frontline Top Spot for effective control of fleas and ticks (haa.. still trust this product over other products). Squirt range of shampoo is also suitable to be used with Frontline Top Spot. I am not using any conditioner for now as I find it weighs down the furnishing of my puppy.

After the 1st use of Squirt - I love the results, it smell nice too. Will monitor for any skin reaction, but i doubt it will be bad as I can see from my dog.
