Dental Care

The objective of brushing a dog's teeth is to prevent tooth decay, fight plaque and tartar build-up, combat gum disease and control unpleasant breath. In SG, it is easy to locate this 2 brands, C.E.T. Oral Hygiene Kit & Four Paws Pet Dental Toothcare Kit.

I use both the brushes in the package, Fingerbrush, Dual-Ended Toothbrush. Use a gentle circular motion, massage and brush the teeth and gums. Introduce the brushing by just brush a little at first and let the dog taste the toothpaste and get used to it. Slowly brushing up the entire mouth at the end. Give a reward such as treats and remember to praise well when the dog is cooperative. This is to associate good behaviour and make the dog loves brushing teeth.

Take a look at http://www.cetdental.com/how_to_brush.asp on “How To Brush Your Pet’s Teeth”, training required. Let's work hard towards good dental care.
