SKC Dog Show

It has being a busy week before the show and also after the show. I got so carried away that I forgot about my birthday, thanks to Ming Hui who SMS me and wished me a Happy Birthday. Perhaps is getting old and feel like is a normal day. Well.. so long we are happy, every day is meaningful.

The night before show, I hardly sleep, maybe thinking too much or got too much rest the whole day. I was the 1st to reached in the morning, as I always bring my boy around to get used to the rings. Thanks to Jason who came early and fetched us there.

In the morning show, Ben got Best Miniature Schnauzer Puppy but did not manage to get into the group puppy. He got a RCC.

In the afternoon show, before the show starts. I felt so tired, insufficient sleep and with the running nose, I blacked out a for awhile but doing fine. Keep feeling thirsty and keep drinking water. Ben got Best Miniature Schnauzer Puppy and he is good to move into the Utility Group Puppy.

I got excited and we have to wait.. wait.. and wait.. for the Utility Group Puppy show. Finally, they called for exhibit no. 125. Melvin is the handler and there they go into the holding area. I avoided Ben's eye contact so he can concentrate with Melvin. Feeling excited again, and YES! the judge gave it to Ben. This means he got Best Utility Group Puppy and he is moving into the show level to compete with other groups' best Puppies.

The Best in Show is always at the end of the whole event and is the most exciting part of the whole show. After a long wait.. they called for exhibit no. 125, Melvin and Ben proceeded into the holding area. I was tired but still full of excitment. They went one round, stack, one by one puppy went into the ring. Ben's turn, he moved well, I felt confident (this moment keep flashing in my mind). Melvin stack him on the floor and I saw the posture, he is relaxed but alert (this one too). Up down the judge looked at the front and rear movement. All stacked and wait for the judge's call. YES! The Judge pointed to Ben. Ben won! He got Best Puppy In Show.
