Ugly Stage

Sometimes, I really find ben real ugly.. haha.. it is true. This is due to the fact of unproportional growth rate. Ben looks like very long, he becomes rectangular rather then square. It is true, even groomer also comment about it. He told me this is the growing period of puppies. They stretch longer. Then, they will grow taller. Some become very "thin" looking, but with proper exercise, diet and care. Their shape will back again and that will be his real form of a show dog at about age of 1yr old.

Also discussed abit about Ben's topline. He looks bad, the topline looks terrible just like a "camel". Again, this is could be the part of growing up or lack of confident. Nevertheless, exercise is important to Ben and I make sure I keep up to it (but not pushing on it).

During the waiting period for the new coat to be acheived, I also observed the difference in coat growth rate of Ben's coat over the various areas. In general, Ben's coat is growing out fast but yet to the best condition. Even the show is near the corner, I guess he make it for show coat but it will be even better 2 weeks down the road where all the true colour will be out.

Hmm.. also notice the beard is getting cleaner "white" these days, I am excited to see his beard getting longer and longer day by day and at the same time working hard on it. Hope to see long and white beard soon.

Ben's furnishing condition has improved alot from day1 till now. Will expect higher volume in the coming months and of course whiter as time past.
