Show Preparation
10 more days to go, 22 Oct 2006 - SKC's 154th/155th Championship Dog Shows. It is not an easy task for a newbie like me to get the preparation work done all by myself.
Transportation
1st I will need transport.... oh... my bro... Mr Jason Ngiam has offered to help. Great! Will buy him real nice dinner for his help. He will help me to video cam and take some photograhs too.
Show Grooming
This part will need Kelvin's help. Already booked him for before show grooming and show day grooming.
Things To Bring Along
Thanks to Steven who help me to list out the items to bring along on show day. Woah.. looks like Ben is shifting house there for a day:
1. Crate - for your dog to rest in between
2. Grooming table
3. A large towel to put over the table
3. Grooming equipment such brushes, combs, etc
4. Water
5. Treats
6. Show Leash and normal walking leash
7. Plastic bags for cleaning poo and kitchen towel in case pee at wrong spot
8. Towel to dry muzzle.
Show Training
I have also added more small session during this period and also get Ben to walk with other people (making sure no mishandling). This is to prepare him to get use to walking with show handler as I am not showing Ben myself (need to work on show day).
Conditioning
Daily walks was much affect by the haze last week. No outdoor activity for Ben during PSI over 100. But once PSI is down to 100 or best below 50, we will continue to walk.
